Join us Aug 23 at Lansdowne Park, 1–3 PM. Inclusive community event for powerchair hockey!The Ottawa Power Wheelchair Hockey League (OPWHL) is excited to announce a special “Try-It” event on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 1–3 PM at the Lansdowne Park basketball courts (next to the Aberdeen Pavilion).
This free community event is designed to introduce more people to the fast-paced, exciting, and inclusive sport of power wheelchair hockey.
Who’s Invited:
The event is open to anyone who uses a power wheelchair, as well as their families, friends, and community members interested in learning more about adaptive sports. Current OPWHL athletes are also encouraged to attend, making this a great opportunity for the league to gather during the summer months.
