To start off the day the Wolves edged the Bears 6 – 4. Wolves offense was clicking highlighted by a 4 goal second period. Bears kept it close all game but couldn’t get that goal they needed. Wolves #3 Johnson Wilson scored 4 goals 1 assist, #5 James Fleet had 1 goal 2 assists, #9 Elena Blain-Ely scored 1 goal (her 1st career OPWHL goal!), #4 Anthony Micallef & #2 Natalie Champayne each had 1 assist. Bears #9 Mohammed Awad scored 4 goals and #3 Atinc Erdin had 1 assist.

In the 1:40 game, the Sharks narrowly defeated the Gators 3 – 2. Sharks had a 2 – 0 lead midway through the 2nd period but the Gators battled back to tie the game. Until Sharks took the lead with less than 6 mins remaining and held on for the win. Sharks #2 Matt Gagnon had 2 goals 1 assist, #1 Robin Guillotte had 1 goal, #5 Kellen Schleyer had 2 assists. Gators #7 Moses Yorke had 1 goal 1 assist, #6 Normand Fortin scored 1 goal, and #2 Joey Kelly had 1 assist.

After 5 games, the Wolves are in 1st place with a 4 – 1 – 0 record!
