Oct. 2nd 2016 Game Summary:

The 2016-17 Season has officially begun!

In the first game of the year the Bears defeated the Sharks 7 – 3! There was a lot of back and forth action in the high scoring game. The Bears ended the 1st period up 2 – 0 and never looked back. Bears #9 Mo Awad scored 7 goals and youngster #2 Emerson Bartel had 1 assist. Sharks #6 Austin Merkley scored 2 goals, #2 Matt Gagnon had 1 goal 1 assist, #5 Kellen Schleyer added 2 assists, and #7 Malaky Lamberson contributed 1 assist.

Game 2 was low scoring with the Wolves edging the Gators 3 – 1. Game flow was continuous with whistles few and far between. Score was tight throughout until the Wolves scored on a powerplay midway through the 3rd. #3 Johnson Wilson scored all 3 Wolves goals, and #5 James Fleet had 1 assist. #4 Blaine Cameron scored the lone Gators goal and #5 Scott Haycock had 1 assist.
