In game 1 the Gators took down the Sharks by a score of 5 – 3. It was a fairly close game throughout, Gators had a 1 goal leading going into the 3rd period and held on for the 2 goal victory. Gators #4 Blaine Cameron had 2 goals 1 assist, #7 Moses Yorke & #3 Tiana Tothvent scored 1 goal 1 assist each, and #1 Nicholas Occomore scored 1 goal. Sharks #6 Austin Merkley had 2 goals, #2 Matt Gagnon had 1 goal 1 assist, #5 Kellen Schleyer contributed 2 assists, and #4 Hollis Peirce added 1 assist.

In more of a defensive game, the Bears downed the Wolves 4 – 2. Both goaltenders had strong games and a typical defenceman from each team scored! Bears #9 Mohammed Awad scored 3 goals, #10 Thom Wilkinson scored 1 goal (his 1st career goal!), and #2 Emerson Bartel had 1 assist. Wolves #5 James Fleet had 1 goal 1 assist and #6 Anthony Micallef scored 1 goal (another 1st career goal!).
