In the early game, the Bears came out on top over the Sharks 5 – 3. The Bears scored 2 quick goals to open the game including Pierre Heroux’s 1st career goal! The team scored 2 more to build a commanding lead. Sharks had a strong 3rd period scoring 3 times with Kellen Schelyer potting his 1st goal of the season.
At 1:40 the Wolves defeated the Gators 4 – 2. The Wolves finished the opening period up 3 – 0 after capitalizing on their scoring chances with Johnson Wilson scoring 2 and Elena Blain-Ely scoring once. From then on it was a very tight game, with the Gators scoring late in the 3rd when Moses Yorke netted 2 quick goals.
