In game 1, the Wolves took down the Sharks 5 – 2. Sharks got on the scoeboard first with Austin scoring a goal. Wolves then took the lead with 3 straight goals, with a couple great coordinated passing plays. Johnson Wilson had 3 goals 2 assists, and James Fleet had 2 goals 1 assist. Sharks Matt Gagnon & Austin Merkley had 1 goal 1 assist each, and Kellen Schleyer added 2 assists.
In a high scoring affair the Bears downed the Gators 8 – 3. A very close intense game in the 1st two periods with the Gators holding a territorial advantage. However in the 3rd, the Bears offense exploded for 5 goals putting the game out of reach. Bears Mohammed Awad scored 6 goals, Emerson Bartel had 1 goal 2 assists, Atinc Erdin had 1 goal 1 assist, Mike Booth added 2 assists, and Pierre Heroux had 1 assist.
